Our collectors club was founded in 1993 and has now 125 members coming from different European countries (The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, France) and from the States. We're all collecting antique and old fishing tackle and related items such as reels, rods, books, pins, creels, floats, baskets, stamps, post cards, prints, lures, figurines, minnow traps and automatic hooking devices...

Twice a year a tackle show is organized: during Spring in Oud-Empel -near 's Hertogenbosch- and during Fall we have our great European Tackle Show in Eindhoven. Both shows have no entrance fee and are attended by hundreds of collectors from the surrounding countries. They all come not only to trade, buy or sell but also to get free advice and valuation. The great American reel collectors club, Old Reel Collectors Association (O.R.C.A.) and our V.H.V. have decided to join forces in an alliance or co-operative agreement. Have a look at their web site by clicking on the direct link below.

We recently added the membership roster of our Association. You can find the members -who also appear in the roster of our Club-magazine-, with their home addresses, phone and fax numbers and e-mail addresses. Each member gave his point(s) of interest... A nice -and free- way to get known world-wide!

The official club-magazine "De Vissende Verzamelaar" is published twice a year and sent to all our members.
